Update Adobe Flash Player
Adobe has issued a security update for Flash Player. Unfortunately, the update site sometimes gives you an older version and not the new version. The latest version is 10.0.42.34. It took me several tries to get the correct version installed. Use this link to check your version. Be sure to close and restart your browser after the installation or the check will give the old version.
Adobe will also try to download something from McAfee. Be sure to uncheck the box that is checked by default (unless you want the McAfee software). Another aggravation is that Adobe will try to install an unnecessary download manager for Firefox users. Note that you must update the Flash player for each browser you use. Addendum: To clarify, the Firefox update works for other non-IE browsers. Internet Explorer uses ActiveX and is the odd one out.
