Merge a series of Web pages for easier viewing
In order to maximize advertising space and page view statistics, many sites create a series of pages on a topic instead of presenting one page containing all the subject material. Having to click through one page after another when trying to read an article is annoying, especially if you want to go back to some part. Although some people find scrolling down to read a page that doesn’t all fit on the screen to also be annoying, I personally much prefer scrolling down to clicking through a bunch of pages. Therefore, I was interested to read about a Firefox add-on called PageZipper that stitches a series of pages together.
It isn’t a perfect solution but it does have advantages. One problem that I found is that many sites add comments, policy statements, or other material at the end of every page so that you end up scrolling through a lot of the same material over and over. Using ad blockers or NoScript can cut out some of the clutter.
