Disposable phone numbers
If you have to publish your phone number on the Internet for some reason, there’s a very useful service called inumbr. They will provide you with a disposable phone number, good for a specified period of time. So far, the service is free. You’ll need to provide inumbr with your real phone number so they can forward calls. You’ll also have to provide an email address.
Obviously, a free service has to pay its bills somehow and I am not sure what advertising hooks may exist but this could be a useful service for anyone wanting to place ads on places like Craigslist.
