How to position two windows side-by-side
I am sometimes asked how to position two windows side-by-side. There have been “tile” commands for a long time but many PC users are unaware of this feature. Here is one way to use them.
If you have a window open and another window minimized, hold down the Control key and right-click the icon of the minimized window that sits in the taskbar. The context menu containing “tile” commands will open (shown below). Choose “Tile Vertically” to place the two windows side-by-side. Or choose “Tile Horizontally” to display one on top of the other.

it’s easy using Vista – right click an empty space on the Taskbar context window shows with the option – Show Windows Side by Side!!!
