Windows 7 release candidate soon
Development of Windows 7 seems to be moving right along. The first release candidate is being sent to testers and supposedly will be available to the public on May 7. A release candidate is pretty far into the process so it looks like Windows 7 will be out in a few months. Knowledgeable observers of Microsoft are still betting on September or thereabouts.
