Check the speed of your Internet connection
If you want to be sure that your Internet connection is working properly, one thing to do is to check the speed of the connection. There are numerous sites that can do this and your Internet service provider may have a link for testing. Speed tests generally use either Java or Flash applets so be sure one of these is enabled. Personally, I like the site at Broadband Reports. It also provides a way to test your iPhone connection and a directory of links that provide speed tests worldwide. Speedtest.net is another place to do tests. It also provides a download for a free app that works on an iPhone or iPod touch.
