Windows Vista tweaking utility

Prior to Vista, Microsoft provided an unofficial utility called Tweakui that allowed for conveniently customizing a number of system settings. There is no Vista version of Tweakui but Ramesh Kumar has written a similar free utility called Ultimate Windows Tweaker that is available at The WinVista Club. I briefly mentioned this utility back in November but it keeps coming up so I thought I would point it out again with some more details.

The utility is a single 380 KB executable file that requires no installation. It does require administrative rights. It can be run from a USB thumb drive if desired. The description says:

The tweaks are classified under seven categories and can be accessed through a common interface, just like your Windows Vista Control Panel.
1) Personalization
2) User Accounts & UAC
3) System & Performance
4) Security
5) Internet Explorer (IE7 / IE8)
6) Network Optimization
7) Additional Options

There are said to be over 150 tweaks available.
