Resizing a hard drive partition without losing data
I’ve been asked more than once how to resize the partitions on a hard drive while keeping the data on the drive intact. Unfortunately, the disk partition tools in Windows destroy existing data so some third-party tool is necessary. PC World has a brief discussion of some of the methods available for non-destructive partitioning.
