I think the problem is that most people are so set in their ways that they don’t really want to have to tweak. They expect it to be to their preference as it comes off the shelf. And these are usually the same kind of people that are still using IE6 because it’s a routine and what they’re used to.
I thought Vista was a terrible misstep at first. But given a little time to adapt, I can now appreciate that it’s not all bad. I think Microsoft will definitely have a rethink with its next OS though.
