PC buying guide

Walter Mossberg is out with his annual fall PC buying guide. It’s just the bare bones for buying suggestions but is a place to start if you don’t know much about computers and their components. It ends with this sage advice, “Remember, pay only for the computing capabilities you need.”

Hmmmm. I guess it’s a decent guide for total beginners, but I’d recommend Vista over XP.
