Learning about the BIOS
Now, I realize that the average home PC user may not be all that interested in the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS). And most of the time the BIOS just does its job of getting the computer booted and started up without needing anyone to pay it any attention. But sometimes you might want to access it to change or reset a setting. I have posted before about how to access the BIOS. However, the settings can be a little mysterious and Adrian Kingsley-Hughes has posted an explanation of what various settings do. His piece is mostly intended for those who build their own system but others may find something of interest in the article as well.
