How do I get this thing open?
Sometimes the most difficult part of using a new piece of gear or new software is getting the package open. The Windows Vista packaging baffled so many people that Microsoft created a video showing how to get the box open. Also, the sealed plastic packages that now encapsulate so many things are not only hard to open but can also give you a cut if you aren’t careful. At WikiHow there is an article on how to deal with the hard plastic packaging. The article begins:

There’s even a term for the frustration they inspire: wrap rage. In 2004, over 6,000 Americans went to the emergency room with injuries resulting from opening difficult packaging![1] Here’s a rundown on how to preserve your hands and sanity when confronting a blister pack that has no apparent means of entry.
