		<description>Great article and thanks for posting the link.  This brings to mind the odd, slow decline of Novell in the early &#039;90s.  I can recall reading very similar articles highlighting incongruous behavior in that company.  Although the decline of Novell was not as drastic as pundits predicted, the decline was nonetheless very real.  Today Novell is still around and is a strong company but it&#039;s revenue and sway in the market is nothing like it once was.  Will the same happen to Microsoft?  Only three technology firms (that I know of) have been able to weather these storms over the long haul: IBM, Oracle and Intel.  The question is whether or not Microsoft will be able to do the same.</description>
