Find out all about your system with Belarc
My experience is that most home PC users have only a vague notion of what’s actually on their computer. It’s a good idea to have a record of what software you have installed, what updates have been made, and what hardware you are running. There are several ways to go about generating a report of what’s on your system but one excellent method is to use the free software Belarc Advisor. I mentioned this program several years ago but it has been updated since then and is worth pointing out again. It can be downloaded here. It can be used to generate an HTML file with extensive information about your system, including product keys and software licenses. This is something worth doing by everybody. Make a copy and store it somewhere off your computer.
