Sometimes it seems that companies selling online try to make all their profit in the shipping and handling charges. These added fees can be a substantial fraction of the total cost of an online order. AppScout has an article giving ways to cut the costs of online shopping by getting free shipping. It features the site FreeShipping.org:
The only thing better than jumping on a hot deal posted on your favorite deal site is getting that bargain with free shipping. There are a number of sites that will help you get free shipping or other discounts on the items you buy online, but FreeShipping.org sports codes for over 650 stores including some of the Web’s most popular, like NewEgg, Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. If there are other coupons that can save you money while shopping, the service lists those as well.
