Web 2.0 changing politics?

According to political strategists quoted in an eWeek article, Web 2.0 ‘Changing Politics Forever’, social networking is changing politics by involving a new generation of voters. The under 30’s have generally been seen as apathetic about voting but Web 2.0 is changing that according to the article.
