Free Microsoft downloads
Microsoft provides quite a variety of free downloads. Some of these are substantial programs like Visual Basic 2005, others are things like fonts or clip art. You can go to the Microsoff download site to see what’s available but that site can be overwhelming. It is very hard to find things there even when you know what you’re looking for. My SeniorNet colleague Sol Libes has pointed me to a site where many of the downloads have been listed in an organized way so that it is much easier to find something of interest. Take a look and you may find things that you did not know were available.
