Keeping Internet Explorer Favorites sorted

Some time back, I posted a tip on how to alphabetize the list of favorites in Internet Explorer. A jumbled list of favorites is a common problem for many home PC users and the question of how to sort them keeps coming up. The problem is that IE favorites get out of order every time you add new ones. There is a solution that is more permanent than the one I gave previously but it involves editing the Registry. You can read about it here or you can use a little program I have written. Once you have used the program, IE favorites should stay alphabetized unless you start manually moving them around. Download the zipped EXE file here. To use it, just unzip it anywhere, close Internet Explorer and click. Reopen IE and all should be sorted. Nothing is installed and you can toss the file after you use it. The usual disclaimer holds: the user assumes all responsibility.
