There is a downside to testing this Beta. Apparently you lose a lot of your extensions and the uninstaller doesn’t work quite right.
However, I found a version of Portable Firefox 2.0 Beta. You simply download the zip file, expand it in a folder and run the PortableFirefox.exe program. It gives you all the features but doesn’t mess up your existing v1.5 installation since it is totally self-contained. It’s available at http://tech.cybernetnews.com/?p=411
