The 25 Worst Tech Products of All Time
PC World has published its list of the 25 Worst Tech Products of All Time.
So as we put together our list of World Class winners for 2006, we decided also to spotlight the 25 worst tech products that have been released since PC World began publishing nearly a quarter-century ago.
You can argue about some of the choices but there are certainly some bad products on the list. I would have added some versions of Norton Antivirus. They gobbled resources, crashed systems, and made everything run slow as molasses. I haven’t used Norton Antivirus lately so maybe it’s still a resource hog.
Below are PC World’s choices for the worst five. They include two of my favorite peeves, AOL and RealPlayer at the top. (Or is it bottom?)
- AOL
- RealPlayer
- Syncronys SoftRAM
- Microsoft Windows Millennium
- Sony BMG Music CDs
