EBay phishing going from bad to worse
It is a sad thing that the Internet is riddled with schemes to rip you off but human nature being what it is, a small minority of sociopaths is taking a lot of the convenience out of using the Internet.
Here is yet another case. Ebay has been a remarkable phenomenon, providing an easy and convenient way for people to carry out a world-wide garage sale and for small and part-time merchants to reach a huge group of potential buyers. But the phishers are preying on users of eBay to such an extent that many are afraid to use it any more. If, like many, you are using eBay, exercise special caution.

Click on an eBay auction listing, and you could get an unwanted result: a fake eBay login page, created by scammers looking to pilfer your username and password.
