I have used some freeware undelete programs in the past with limited success. Sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. Eventually I purchased a commercial quality file recovery program. In this case it was StompSoft's Recover Lost Data . After having used this program for some time now, I've realized that many of the freewares can not compete with a fully developed commercial software. That being said I believe that you get what you pay for and I now reach for commercial software before I even consider freeware.
